Albert Park Yacht Club is again hosting a terrific warmup Regatta for the Summer season, with their City Sail Coaching Regatta for Women & Girls to be hosted on the gentle waters of the Albert Park Lake over the weekend of 9-10 September 2017, with a combination of coaching and short-course racing over the two days.

This event aims to increase female participation and confidence in sailing, with the requirement for all skippers to be female, with either female or male crew. All monohull classes up to 5.5 metres are welcome.

With first class coaches engaged and opportunities for practising skills in short course racing formats, the event provides an ideal opportunity to get a jump start to elevate your sailing performance for the forthcoming 2017-18 season.

So why not consider taking up the helm and ask your regular skipper or boat owner to come along as mentor for the event.

Come back to APYC Clubhouse after racing on Saturday to meet up with other competitors at a barbecue with a free glass of wine/beer or soft drink on offer.
